"That damn playwright cursed us when he wrote our story with a quill from a Phoenix feather."
Juliet explaining how Shakespeare cursed the couple.[src]

William Shakespeare (baptised 26 April 1564; died 23 April 1616) was an English poet and playwright, widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world's pre-eminent dramatist.

History

Writing and Cursing Romeo and Juliet

In the 16th century, Shakespeare wrote the epic tragedy "Romeo and Juliet". He had written the couple's love story with a quill from the feather of a Phoenix. By doing this, he unknowingly cursed the couple into a time loop, causing them to meet, marry and die over and over again in an endless cycle.

In 2007, the couple sought the help of a Charmed One, Phoebe Halliwell. They thought that by being married by a Charmed One would break the curse and set the couple free from the time loop.[1]

Plays

William Shakespeare's plays have the reputation of being among the greatest in the English language and in Western literature. Traditionally, the 38 plays are divided into the genres of tragedy, history, and comedy; they have been translated into every major living language, in addition to being continually performed all around the world.
