William Lancaster is the main antagonist in the novel, Picture Perfect. He is the ex-husband of Isabella Marshall and stepfather of Lucile Marshall.
History[]
Early life[]
William Lancaster was a successful man, who married Isabella Marshall, a talented artist. He accepted that Isabella had an illegitimate child, and treated her as his own. He built Lancaster Building, which became known as "Mural House" to the locals. Though he was successful, his wife's artistic talents outshone him. This made him feel threatened, and he began to exhibit a controlling nature. When this went out of proportion, Isabella turned to her only friend, Miranda Nance, who studied Egyptian magic.
Together, they lured William into a trap and had his spirit contained inside a painting. Isabella was supposed to burn his body so that his soul would have no place to return to if he was ever freed. Unfortunately, despite what transpired, she still held a small piece of love for the man, and so she only hid his body. William's assistant, Donovan Hawthorne, and his son and grandson had since dedicated their lives to restoring him.
Freedom[]
Decades later, William's soul was freed when Maxwell Harrington III reopened the building and uncovered William's painting. His body was extremely weak, and his only ally, Donovan's grandson, Gil, set out to restore his body by performing a ritual that required sacrifices. Isabella's daughter, Lucile, was the last target.
He and Gil confronted Lucille and the Charmed Ones at P3, where the sisters outsmarted and eventually defeated him.
Physical Appearance[]
William was described by Paige to be heartbreakingly handsome, with unruly dark hair, startling green eyes, a full sensuous mouth, and a long and slightly severe face.
