The Veteran was a soldier who fought in WWII. Leo Wyatt died in the line of duty while saving his life and later became a Whitelighter. When Leo and Piper attended a reunion, the veteran recognized Leo, though Piper quickly stated that he was his grandson. The veteran wanted his sons to meet Leo, as they would not have been born if Leo had not saved his life.
