To Accelerate Time is a spell in the Warren Book of Shadows that allows witches to fast-forward time for twenty-four hours. It was used by Prue Halliwell to break out of a time loop.
History
In 1999, the Charmed Ones were stuck in a time loop created by the demon Tempus. Prue used this spell to accelerate time and broke the time loop after Inspector Rodriguez killed Andy Trudeau. Breaking the time loop seemingly vanquished Tempus, though it was revealed two years later that he had only been weakened.[1]

Notes and Trivia
- In the non-canon novel, Soul of the Bride, the sisters cast the spell again to accelerate a few days forward to the birthday of Nikos, the son of Hades; Nikos had been attempting to force Phoebe to become his bride as part of a ritual to receive his full powers, but by accelerating time to that date, the Charmed Ones ensured that he had to let them go as he had technically failed.
