The Sheriff was the sheriff of a small town somewhere in Texas.

To discover his true allegiance and destiny, the Elders stripped Leo Wyatt of his memories and powers and dropped him in the middle of Texas to find himself. After Leo helped a driver who crashed his truck, he was brought to the sheriff's station, where the sheriff took his finger prints to identify him. He then took Leo to Nadine's diner to get something to eat.
