10/31, or Halloween—traditionally a time to reflect, a time of divination, and a time to honor the ancients. But Phoebe's plans to communicate with her ancestors are cut short when she's recruited to help reunite a star-crossed, magical couple.

The spell can only summon an ancestor of the family. No one knows who will answers as the spell merely opens a doorway to them.

The return spell must be cast before midnight on Halloween when the veil between life and death is still thin. White candles and a magic circle are required for the spell to be successful.

- Shapeshifting: The ability to change one's appearance. Qalmor could shift between human and demon forms.
- Paralysis Inducement: The ability to paralyze another being with one touch. Qalmor paralyzed Phoebe with this power.
- Shimmering: A method of teleportation through shimmers. Qalmor used this power to teleport to Pamela.
- Orbing: Used by Leo and Paige to teleport.
- Channeling: Used by Pamela in attempt to channel her powers.
- Hyper Speed: The ability to move at extreme speeds. The Master could move at hyper speed.
- Deflection: The ability to deflect active powers. The Master was able to deflect Piper's power of Molecular Combustion.
- Sensing: The ability to sense the location of other beings. The Master could use magic being used.
- Portal Creation: The ability to create portals. The Master could create portals.
- Super Strength: The ability to possess strength beyond humanly possible. The Master had this power. Qalmor used strength to break Phoebe/Pamela out of the Master's prison and attempted to fight him.
