Randy Claudel is a handyman and gardener who works at Montague House. His apparent good looks and a harmless love spell cause affection from Phoebe and Piper. He only appears in the novel, Voodoo Moon.
History[]
Losing His Sister[]
Randy is a servant of a Rada loa. He had a syounger ister named Caroline, who was sacrificed to a Petro loa when she came too close to exposing a Secret Société. Her body was never found, but Randy knew something had happened to her. He started working under the Montagues at Montague House to investigate and protect whoever might fall victim to dark voodoo.
Helping the Charmed Ones and Getting Revenge[]
One year later, the Halliwells came to stay at the bed-and-breakfast. His good looks immediately caught attention from Phoebe and Piper. One day, while walking around the area with Phoebe, they came across a snake. Randy grabbed the snake and tamed it with a spell.
That night, Piper was discovered by a group of evil voodooists when she went to investigate and was chased away by alligators. Randy found her and sent them away again with a spell. He then told her to leave New Orleans with her sisters so no one would get hurt.
After the sisters left, Randy followed them under Yvonne's orders and found them in trouble. With Prue taken hostage, Randy decided to step in and tell Piper everything. They concocted a plan and had Piper freeze the voodooists to buy them enough time to save Prue, and restore a zombified Phoebe and Helene. The sisters then tried to banish the Petro loa with a spell, but its power was too great for theirs to handle. However, Randy knew Gabrielle and Andre were serving two Petro loas at the time, which was forbidden, and used the second vèvè to summon Zdenek. The two loas saw each other, realized their servants broke the law and killed them as punishment. With his sister's murderers dead, Randy was able to avenge her.
Randy was there to celebrate on the sisters' last day in town with Yvonne.
