Mrs. Javitz is a resident of Prescott Street in San Francisco and a neighbor of The Charmed Ones, living down the street from the Halliwell Manor.

When magic switched sides, disempowering all magical beings and granting humans the ability to use magic, Mrs. Javitz snooped around Halliwell Manor, as it was the only house in the street to not have a unique magical appearance. She advised Piper Halliwell to change her house to fit in with the rest, and to embrace the magic like everyone else. She also attempted to find out what her and her sisters' powers were, when in fact, them secretly being witches, they had no powers at that moment in time.
