Charmed

Maxwell Manor is a large and elegant estate located in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles. It had collected a vast amount of mystical energy over the centuries and became a high concentration of power, similar to Halliwell Manor. The difference between the houses is that Halliwell Manor's power is located underground while Maxwell Manor's power is stored within its walls.[1]

The mansion is extremely grand, with a pool and garden in the backyard, a grand kitchen, a dining room, several bedrooms on the second floor, secret tunnels, and a theater. Decorations are both exotic and with extravagant style; with knight armors in the halls, a round table larger than the dining room doors, exotic tapestries, etc.

History[]

The house was built in England centuries ago and accumulated magic. Its magic remained dormant due to its lack of popularity within the Magical Community.

It was later moved and rebuilt in Los Angeles after a famous actor Robert Maxwell bought it. He made sure to have the house's setting rebuilt with the same bricks and in the exact same order. Knowing he was suffering from a fatal disease, Emily DuChancey combined her magic with the house's to turn Maxwell into a spiritual manifestation of himself; this was done to keep him alive and happy.

Because of Maxwell haunting the house, no one owned the place for longer than a couple of weeks.

In 2006, a screenplay writer named Kevin Peterson bought the estate and invited a group of friends to the house for a weekend party. A demon named X'ahroth found the place at the same time and managed to take possession of the house's power and turn it against the inhabitants and guests, including Maxwell. The Charmed Ones, with assistance from Emily and Maxwell, gained power from the house, defeated the demon and purified the house's corrupted magic.
