Max is a mortal man, who was a temporary "couch buddy" to Paige Matthews. She described him as wickedly smart, perversely funny and with just enough of a weird style to be perfect for her.
History[]
Max was making out with Paige on the couch in the manor when Piper and Leo got home, talking about Phoebe and Miles. The relationship presumably ended quickly after this, as Max was not seen again, and Paige's next date was Trevor.
