King Arthur is a legendary figure mentioned in legends. Excalibur was the sword given to King Arthur by the Lady of the Lake, which granted him the title of King of Camelot.[1]

At Arthur's death, Sir Bedivere threw Excalibur into the lake; a hand rose from the water, caught the sword, and disappeared. Another sword, sometimes mistakenly identified with Excalibur, was drawn from a stone by Arthur to prove his royalty. In the modern age, the only two capable of holding it are Piper and Wyatt Halliwell.

Piper can wield it because she is meant to give it to its next master: Wyatt. In the same episode, he is seen using telekinesis to wield the sword and vanquish the demon who stole it.
