Jessica was a mortal backpacker who met Glen Belland while climbing the Matterhorn in Switzerland.

Jessica and Glen started dating sometime after they met in Switzerland and eventually got engaged. Glen returned to San Francisco to pay Paige a visit and introduce her to Jessica. Because of her jealousy and an obsession spell, Paige took Jessica to Purgatory and assumed her identity in attempt to marry Glen instead.

Leo, sensing something was wrong, saved Jessica and took her to Glen just in time to stop the ceremony. This broke the spell on Paige. Feeling horrible about what she had done, Paige tricked both of them to come to the park, so she could apologize and to get them back together. Although Jessica still did not trust Paige, she listened to what she had to say.
