A possessed "Gabe" punches Leo, who orbs out and reappears behind him and tackles him to the floor. A unicorn suddenly appears in front of them. Shaina tosses a freezing potion at Gabe. Leo heals her wound. Shaina shows more freezing potions in her bag. Leo orbs out to get some crystals while Shaina watches over "Gabe".
Meanwhile, Piper and Phoebe are fending off the demons. Shaina and Leo orb in to help. They combine Piper's freezing power with Shaina's freezing potions, effectively freezing everyone. Shaina confesses she made the potion because freezing is the coolest power, which Phoebe feels offended about. Leo suggests letting Shaina help them save Paige's soul since they don't have the Power of Three. Shaina, Piper and Phoebe cast a spell to restore Paige's soul to her body. In the Underworld, Paige is unwilling to leave Gabe alone. With the Power of Three back, the Charmed Ones restore all the innocents' souls before orbing back to the manor. Paige asks Leo to take Shaina somewhere safe.
The sisters orb back down to the Underworld, but find Maisey holding Gabe's soul at knifepoint. Paige orbs the athame out of her hand. Maisey angrily shoves Gabe aside and charges toward the Charmed Ones, but Paige plunges the blade into her chest, injuring her. The Charmed Ones vanquish her. Gabe's soul grows weaker and fades away, much to Paige's horror. They orb out. Djall, who is hovering in midair somewhere in the Underworld. He senses Maisey's death and prepares to go confront the sisters. The demons around him demand the souls he promised. Angered, he vanquishes them with a powerful blast.
Back at the manor, the sisters find Gabe's body still being possessed. Everyone is bepuzzled. Phoebe remembers the Book of Shadows describing how portal demons need to have some link to their doorways. They realize it is the paint, some of which is on Gabe's clothes. They decide to get some more paint. Paige and Phoebe orb to the gallery while Shaina and Piper make potions at the house. Phoebe goes to pick up a can containing the pain and gets a premonition. She tells Paige they are going to need some serious help.
Later in the evening, Djall charges into Halliwell Manor, determined to avenge Maisey. Phoebe jumps down to kick him, but he blasts her away with magic. Piper comes out to fight him, but he snaps his fingers to take her out. Paige orbs in behind him and he knocks her back with a knuckle. He doesn't know the Charmed Ones are merely an illusion created by Shaina to distract him. The real Piper, Phoebe and Paige emerge from furniture and throw potions at him. Djall telekinetically sends them back at the Charmed Ones. Paige catches a few vials and sends them back at Djall. Casting the spell, it destroys all the portals around the city and vanquishes Djall. Gabe is restored, as is Gillian's soul. Tearfully, Paige kisses Gabe. Leo and Shaina come down to see the post-battle. Piper thanks her for her help. Shaina confesses that while she enjoyed helping them, it was exhausting and wants to go back to her quiet college life.
Three days later at P3, the art show takes place as promised. Everyone is enjoying themselves. The Charmed Ones sit at a booth to enjoy the moment. Elise comes to ask Phoebe if she really wants to pass on the editorial position. She affirms her decision. Paige goes to talk to Gabe. They embrace. Gabe's eyes open to reveal a demonic presence.
