Harpies are demons with roots in Greek mythology.
Over centuries they have evolved into a powerful clan of vicious, elite female demons. Harpies follow their queen through her trials tribulations to gain more footing in the demonic ranks of The Underworld.
These leather-clad warriors attack their intended innocent with the ability to shoot laser bolts. They also possess sharp, talon-like claws, which they use to shred flesh. Immune to the powers of witches, the Harpies also possess excellent fighting skills, and can only be vanquished by The Power of Three.
History
Enemies of Grimlocks
The Harpy leader mentioned that the Grimlocks tried to vanquish them a week before the meeting with Cole, who had become The Source of All Evil.
Encounter with the Charmed Ones
Piper and Paige are being attacked by a Harpy. Paige orbs to Phoebe, to get her to vanquish the Harpy. Once they arrive in the Manor, Phoebe is scratched by the Harpy who had thrown her into the mirror above the fireplace. Piper kicked the harpy down, and the sisters finished her off with the vanquishing spell. The Harpy combusts into flames.
The morning after, Cole finds out about the attack. Incensed that the harpies' leader would allow one of her minions to attack his wife, he ordered his assistant Julie to bring the leader before him so he could personally dress her down. Julie delivered the message herself by slicing off the leader's right claw.

To Vanquish a Harpy
This spell requires The Power of Three.

Notes and Trivia
- It's likely that the Harpies have an entry in the Book of Shadows.
- Due to their talon-like claws and physical appearance some believe Harpies to be distant relatives of Furies.
