Summary[]

For a complete plot of Hard Knox Life, go here.

Remember when The Charmed Ones defeated evil and lived a life of peace? Remember how the Charmed Ones defeated Gaxageal and prevented the rise of the Old Ones, all within the tidy confines of a single issue? Yeah, none of that worked.

Knox is back. Leo's life is on the line. Prue's getting all sorts of creepy. And a new, horrible, decidedly Old villain rises...

Notes and Trivia[]

  • The title is likely a reference to the song "It's the Hard Knock Life" from the musical Annie and the character Montgomery Knox.
  • It is revealed that Gaxageal, who attacked the sisters in "No Country for Old Ones", was brought back by Aldar Kose.
  • Prue refuses to help her sisters in this issue, hinting again that their relationship has become troubled.
  • After years of resisting her destiny and wanting a normal life, Piper can finally accept magic in her life.
  • Piper and Phoebe checking out Leo's butt is somewhat reminiscent of them doing the same thing in "The Fourth Sister".
  • Originally titled "The Reason" according to the Charmed comic guide found here: http://charmedcomicfan10.jimdo.com/comic-guide/
