Guardian Angels are angelic beings each assigned to guide a human being and protect them from danger. They move at lightning speed and whisper warnings to their charges when they are at risk. They can be either male or female, though they all share the similarities of being dressed entirely in white and being bald.
Guardian Angels only protect good and living human beings, such as mortals and witches. The more powerful a being is, the stronger their guardian is. For this reason, the guardians of the Charmed Ones are among the most powerful in existence.
Without their guardian, charges are left exposed to danger without warning and become very accident prone.
History
In order to prepare for the upcoming threat, a Celerity Demon named Sarpedon obtained a magical amulet that allowed him to capture Guardian Angels. Once a guardian helped one of their charges survive an accident, Sarpedon would capture them, leaving the charge to get killed right afterward. This strange pattern was eventually noticed by Kyle Brody, who asked Paige for help.
When Kyle and Paige staged an accident, Paige casts a spell that allowed her to see the guardians. Sarpedon then arrived and stole her guardian, leaving her vulnerable. He then went after her sisters and succeeded in killing them, though Piper managed to blow him up after Phoebe grabbed the amulet. Leo later resurrected the sisters after becoming an Avatar and the guardians were all released.
Powers and Abilities
Active Powers
- Teleportation: The Guardian Angels teleport though a beam of pure white light.
- Hyper Speed: The ability to move at superhuman speed. Guardian Angels move at lightning speed, which makes them invisible to human beings and most magical beings.
- Suggestion: The ability to plant thoughts and ideas in the minds of others. Guardian Angels use this to whisper warnings or advice to their charges when they are in danger.
- Sensing: The ability to sense charges and other magical beings.
- Invisibility: The ability to be invisible to the naked eye. Guardian Angels do not possess the power to turn invisible. They are invisible due to the high speed at which they move.

- Quincy had a male guardian, while Paige had a female one. This could mean that guardians have charges of the same gender.
- Angels are not protected by guardian angels. Paige only has one because she is part-witch.
- Sarpedon theorized that since The Charmed Ones were magically connected, their guardians would be as well.
