After learning witchcraft, Abigail used a spell to make Gretchen rot her teeth. She never quite got over it.
Being of Abigail Thornwood's targets, the Halliwell sisters had Gretchen and many others gather at Mystic Knoll to lure Abigail's daughter, Harriet, into a trap, where they used a spell to free her from Abigail's curse.
