Gil Townsend is the secondary antagonist of the Charmed novel, Picture Perfect.
History[]
Gil's father and grandfather had dedicated their lives to freeing William Lancaster's spirit from imprisonment, but never succeeded until his soul was freed from inside the painting that trapped him. Gil had since spent a majority of his time helping him regain his strength, first by killing Miranda Nance (the woman who cursed him) and removing her tongue. He then went on to find other victims, all of whom were physically imposing people, among them a man named Norman Jones. He started working at P3 while tracking down Lucile Marshall as the final target.
He kidnapped Piper to lure Phoebe and Lucile into a trap, then attempted to kill them. However, the sisters defeated him and used a spell to make him kill William. After this, Gil went completely catatonic and was last seen being taken away by the police.
