Flaming is a fire based type of teleportation, used by high-ranking demons and other evil beings. When a being teleports, they appear to be engulfed in intense flames, though this does not harm the users or their passengers.

The Source's flaming.
- As with many forms of teleportation, Flaming has gone through many changes over the course of the series. While originally presented as just flames, later seasons added a fading effect. This is most notable with demons like Zahn. The Source of All Evil could flame in a unique manner; the flames would form the contours of his body before he materialized.
- It assumes that this power did not originally belong to Zahn, and he received it from another demon at an auction, since flame is a property of upper-level evil beings, and Zahn was Lower-Level before he started selling souls.
- Flaming does not harm the users or their passengers, as shown when Zankou teleported with Kyle Brody and Leo Wyatt. Kyle initially thought it did when he staggered upon seeing Zankou flame out for the first time.
