Lori Rom

Loren "Lori" Rom (born August 16, 1975, in Red Bank, New Jersey) was the original Phoebe Halliwell. She only portrayed her once and that was in the Unaired Pilot. She left after filming the pilot for personal reasons (It is said she couldn't play because of her religion). Aaron Spelling then contacted Alyssa Milano to ask her if she was interested in playing Phoebe. Lori Rom is one of two actors replaced after the unaired pilot; Chris Boyd, who portrayed Andy Trudeau, being the other.

It was rumoured that more episodes with Lori Rom were shot but this rumour is not true since Charmed only got picked up for 22 episodes after airing the first two episodes with Alyssa Milano.
Rumours speculated that Rom left Charmed due to being bitter enemies with Shannen Doherty, however, both actresses deny these allegations.
- This is ironic as Doherty would later go on to leave Charmed due to being rivals with Rom's successor, Alyssa Milano.
