Constance M. Burge is an american television writter, creator and producer. She created the short lived series Savanah and the long-running series Charmed. In Charmed, she was executive producer and staff writter until Season 2 and then left her place cause of a dissagreament between her and fellow executive producer Brad Kern. She remained as a Consulting Producer until Season 4. She wrote many episodes in Charmed including:

0. Unaired Pilot

1. Something Wicca this Way Comes

2. Dream Sorcerer

3. Secrets and Guys (story and teleplay)

4. Deja Vu All Over Again

5. The Painted World

6. Mrs. Hellfire

7. Astral Monkeys (story and teleplay)

As an executive producer Burge wanted each episode to end itself and and she used the system demon/warlock/freak of the week. She didn't want to be no episode continuing the other. She didn't want to have any episode containing the word Charmed in its title, too. The mythology of the show used themes such as Wendigo, Nexus and Banshees but after her departure (and Robert Masselo who was an executive story editor and demonologist of the show) was changed and the show used Greek and Romian Mythology such as Muses and Nymphs.Even now there are many discussions in web-sites about the thread: if the show would be better if Constance M. Burge stayed in the show.

It's interesting to note that Constance M. Burge has two elder sistes and that she named the ancestor of the Charmed Ones Melinda Warren after her niece
