History[]
Lei Chao has one talisman hung outside of her door to prevent ghosts from invading her home. She tried to give it to her son Mark for protection on his birthday.
After he died, his soul tried to enter her house, only to be warded off by her talisman. Tony Wong also had one hung on the door of his warehouse, but Piper removed it to let Mark enter.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Force Field: The ability to create a protective sphere. These talismans are capable of only warding off spirits.
Notes and Trivia[]
- Contrary to this depiction, Chinese people would plaster posters of two door guardians on front doors to ward off evil spirits.
- The talisman was mentioned in the book, Trickery Treat. However, it was mistaken to be a Chinese dragon when it was actually a lion.
