The Astrologer was one of the villagers celebrating All Hallow's Eve. As part of his job, he showed Phoebe Halliwell the first letter of her true love's name. Upon seeing the letter "C", she instinctively said the name "Cole".

- It was revealed years later that her true love was a Cupid named Coop.
- The fact that his method worked presumably makes him a magic practitioner or even a witch. Although most likely he was merely a street performer, because, in reality, it would be near-impossible for the peel to form anything other than a "C" or an "O".
