- Alastair: "Then accelerate your plans. Use me to capture the one you want. After all, they'll be after me now."
- The Source: "Yes, they will, won't they. But then why not cut out the middleman?"
- — The Source as he shapeshifts into Alastair and vanquishes him.[src]
Alastair was a powerful Chameleon Demon that served the Source of All Evil as a spy.
History[]
In 2001, the Source sent Alastair to spy on the Charmed Ones by transforming into ordinary household items and eavesdrop on them. He was living in the manor for an unknown amount of time until Cole told Piper and Phoebe that there was a Chameleon in the house. The sisters then noticed a lamp that had never been there before, which was Alastair in disguise. He revealed himself and attacked the sisters before escaping.
Alastair then reported to the Source, who took his appearance just before vanquishing him. The Source continued to pose as Alastair while he invaded Piper's mind in his attempt to get her to give up her powers.

Alastor wanted to release the Source of All Evil so that Parker could become the host, making their family the most powerful in the Underworld. However, his plan ultimately failed, when Charmed One Macy Vaughn took on the Source instead. Alastor bowed before Macy, who then mercilessly incinerated him into a pile of ashes, vanquishing him.
