What's on your mind?
Once and for all: People who grew up with the old Charmed and are too narrow-minded to watch the new Charmed without hating it at the very first second shouldn't talk about the new Charmed! Either give it a chance or be quiet about it.
I love the old Charmed but it has it's mistakes, was old-fashioned and had bad special effects because of the time. That's why I really wanted to have a new one. I was excited when it came and the more I learned from the new one the more excited I got.
Then I watched the new Charmed. It's not only modern and inclusive but also funny and entertaining. The new show tells the story of the old Charmed charming, fresh and unexpected and tries to make up with the mistakes the old show had. It's absolutely awesome and I love it!
Sure, it has its own mistakes. The special effects are good but could have been better for today times, the stories were told a little too fast (which is better than to slow like the old Charmed often did) and there was too little explaining but this season was only the maiden voyage for the new show and they're going to change the last two points next season according to the new showrunners.
Both shows are great!
The old Charmed is classic and cozy and you can watch it all over again while the new Charmed is exciting and surprising and you can watch the story evolve with all the old and the new thing to explore! I'll never get why someone would miss that on purpose!
For all the people saying it's not a reboot: The new Charmed tells the story of the old Charmed in a new fashion and that's exactly what a reboot should do because that's what a reboot simply is. And they should not have called the show something else because otherwise people would complain about the show copying the old Charmed instead of complaining about how the old Charmed was better.
Also, it would've been difficult to continue the Halliwell's story because the story of Piper, Phoebe and Paige is all told, they already told stories about Piper's children and there wouldn't be much stories they could tell without repeating the old Charmed.

That‘s the title of the 345th episode of Grey‘s Anatomy where Alyssa Milano and Holly Marie Combs will play two sisters who have to decide whether to keep their brain dead sister „alive“ or not.
It‘s clearly a reference to Charmed and I wonder if you like it or not.

The only thing that we should have seen before the original Charmed was that after they won the Ultimate Battle someone like Billie should have explained to the magical community especially the leprechauns that Dumain and the Triad set them all up to tarnish their reputations. Billie could have explained everything and the magical community should have apologized to the Charmed Ones for doubting them and they would have had their reputation back. They all should’ve realized that it wasn’t their fault. Dumain put them under spells. All the good they did for eight years. Where is the closure and happy ending for everyone. The community should feel awful for siding against them they owe the Charmed Ones a huge apology.
